SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
August 5th - August 10th, 2009: an important series of events, laying the groundwork for 75 Young Leaders, winners of the YOUR VOICE - YOUR CHOICE AWARDS to learn empowerment tools, begin a global network that includes project missions to help those in need, and launch a virtual classroom that will connect youth from around the world and more.
August 5th - Reception for VIPs in Accra, Ghana, laying the foundation for future years
August 6th - All-day conference where the Young Leaders from the United States will travel to Ghana to interface and interact with their Ghanaian youth counterparts.
August 7th - Youth will travel to local orphanage to see children from their area, who are in need. ALONG WITH OUR PARTNERS - AIRLINE AMBASSADORS.
95 children are orphaned in this facility. They get a heart-warming visit from our Young Leaders team, where we will pass out not only healing hugs, but also bring them school kits and medical supplies. We'll also plant trees (indigenous and fruit) to provide shade and food. Planting trees will help us omit Co2 emissions from our carbon footprint from traveling to Africa. This trip will therefore be carbon neutral.
August 8th - A special picnic and awards ceremony to honor the 75 participants in the Your Voice - Your Choice contest
August 9th - A surprise field trip
August 10th - Follow-up meeting with key officials to set next steps and to bring the mobile virtual classroom to this area, as well as 11 other African nations - preparing for our trip in November - where we will work with our partner organizations to help distribute cures for Malaria, Burela Ulcer and more. (HERO, Global Doctor's Alliance, Operation of Hope, McCord Foundation).

Once again, we are seeking $20.00 donations (more is of course welcome!), which will give our wonderful youth the ability to attend all the above, and give us the ability to document their experience to share with other kids around the world.
